Mahesh Goenka is a commercial and strategy consultant in the mining & metals sector, with deep experience in uranium and nuclear fuel markets. He leads forecasting at Old Economy and heads the market outlook and nuclear markets services at the firm.
Prior to Old Economy, Mahesh was Commercial Manager for BHP, where he oversaw contracting strategy and was responsible for contracting terms, pricing strategy, customer placement and sales performance benchmarking for uranium and other commodities. Previous to that, Mahesh led analysis for metals markets including uranium, where he managed forecasting, corporate strategy and capital allocation projects.
Before BHP, Mahesh worked at the boutique consultancy CRU, where he directed strategy and due diligence assignments for clients in the metals & mining and fertilizer sectors. Mahesh is a metallurgical and materials engineer and started his career in steel plant operations and brownfield projects. He has worked across India, UK, the Middle East and Singapore.
Melissa Driscoll worked in the utility nuclear power generation industry for 45 years before transitioning into consulting. She is a nuclear engineer who began her career in regulatory work, later moving into core design and reactor engineering with a focus on core operations monitoring. She became a certified Senior Reactor Operator at Consolidated Edison of New York’s Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant.
Following Entergy’s acquisition of Indian Point, she continued working in core design and was subsequently appointed Senior Manager of Fuels for Entergy’s northern fleet. After the merger of Entergy’s northern and southern fleets, she assumed the role of Director of Nuclear Fuels, overseeing fuel activities during a period when Entergy operated a fleet of ten reactors. She later served as Director of Nuclear Fuels for PSEG Nuclear, which owns and operates three reactors....

Chris is a Uranium Marketing specialist with wide global contracting experience and expertise.
He has worked across the nuclear industry since 1992, in marketing management roles for uranium and nuclear fuel suppliers in Australia (WMC/BHP), Canada (Cameco), Kazakhstan (Uranium One), Russia (U1/ Tenex) and Africa (GoviEx/Atomic Eagle).
He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and MBA from the University of Adelaide, and is an Associate of the Australian Society of Accountants.
