Seminar Overview
38 countries have signed the pledge to triple global nuclear by 2050. Countries like Egypt, Turkiye and Bangladesh are currently building their first nuclear power plants, while 35 other countries around the world are exploring nuclear energy for the first time. Converting this ambition into reality will require significant new effort in every aspect of the nuclear sector – in policy and regulation, financing and investment, engineering and construction, operations and, not the least, the nuclear fuel cycle.
Uranium, conversion and enrichment prices are up by 240%, 340% and 325%, respectively, since the start of 2020. The outlook and sentiment on the nuclear fuel markets have clearly shifted. Navigating these markets – whether as a fuel seller, trader, utility buyer, regulator, investor or operator – requires a strong understanding of the technical, fundamental market and commercial elements of each link that makes up the nuclear fuel cycle. This seminar is a great way to strengthen that foundation.
